Fundraiser at Henson Robinson Zoo: July 17th

The Henson Robinson Zoo will be hosting Tat-Zoo Day in Springfield, IL and a portion of the ticket sales will go towards supporting research at the Krejci Aquatic Research Laboratory. One of our upcoming sophomore undergraduates, Xavier Grindley, has dreams of becoming a pediatrician. Dr. Krejci designed a research project examining the impacts of ocean acidification on ossification of marine fish larvae and juveniles, which will blend her marine science expertise with Xavier’s interest in developmental biology. The lab is looking for donations to support undergraduate research projects like this at Bethune-Cookman University!
