Welcome to the lab Jennifer!

This summer the Aquatic Research Lab is excited to welcome Integrated Environmental Science Masters student, Jennifer Spain, to the lab!

Jennifer is currently the director of the Aquaculture, Environmental, and Marine Science Academy, at Atlantic High School in Volusia County Florida. She partnered with the Marine Discovery Center and was awarded funding to test the effectiveness of oyster bag alternatives at improving oyster recruitment, biodiversity and shoreline stabilization. We are excited to have her at the lab and are looking forward to sharing her progress with you!
