Student training on live cultures continues…even on a Saturday. Dr. Krejci and seniors Ja’Kaila and Alyssa were back at it: making up sodium thiosulfate solution, setting up the airline for the carboy cultures, checking on the copepods and seahorses. (Plus the other 1,000 tasks to get done everyday!)
Good news: the cultures have adult copepods breeding, several females with eggs and some nauplii have hatched.
